Our Payment Options

At University Place Dental, we offer several common methods of payment that are used to pay for our dental services. We provide an option that will work best for you.

A quick overview of all of the different methods of payment available are detailed below.

Cash and Personal Checks

Paying with cash is one of the most common and reliable ways to cover dental care costs. Since cash payments can be faster and more convenient, many of our patients opt for this method.

We also accept personal checks at our dental office. Our staff is happy to provide you with any information you may need to complete the check accurately.

CareCredit

Our office accepts CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that is used to pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by dental insurance. CareCredit is subject to credit approval, but once you are accepted, you can use it again and again. CareCredit is a great option if you're on a budget, in that you can pay for your dental expenses in installments. Ask us about CareCredit today! Applying is easy, and we are here to answer any questions.

Insurance

There are various dental insurance plans today and many of the plans fully cover or partially cover your basic dental work including teeth cleanings, fillings, check-ups and even necessary dental surgery.

However, it is important that you verify if we are an accepted provider of your dental insurance company. Since dental plans can vary in terms of services covered and accepted providers, it is important you speak to your insurer to understand your plan's coverage and prepare before your visit with us. Keep in mind that if your dental insurance only covers part of your services, you will have a balance remaining for which you can pay through our other available payment options. If you are paying your dental services through your insurance, please make sure to bring your insurance card and a form of ID the day of your visit.

To schedule an appointment, feel free to call us at 618-549-0208 or come to our office in Carbondale. Our University Place Dental team is here to answer any questions you may have about our payment options.
